Dakshina – A Monthly Program

When you follow your impulse of generosity, you are practicing dakshina. A gift of any size, at any time is part of the ancient tradition, whereby you are supporting your teacher and the teachings.

When you decide to make a monthly donation part of your financial planning, it becomes an integral part of your yoga practice. You invite yoga into the financial part of your life, and you become a more significant part of our financial life. We depend on your contributions to support our service to the world.

Your support enables our Master Teacher Swami Nirmalananda (Rama) and our other Trainers to devote themselves fully to the teaching and practice of Svaroopa^® yoga, so they deepen their own experience and can provide enriching programs and courses for you. Your donation maintains the organizational framework that carries our teachings into the world.

There are many ways to give. You can send a donation at any time, or include an extra amount with your enrollment fee for a course. You can become a Foundation Builder by offering a larger gift or setting up an endowment. Any of these make a difference – a big difference.

Yet, when you make a commitment to a monthly contribution, you are stepping up to a whole new level of participation. We have been receiving monthly donations from many generous yogis for years, which creates a consistent and significant form of support for us. Master Yoga relies on your support, just like you use another blanket under you when you sit. In addition, your donations are tax-deductible contributions to a charitable organization.
