Executive Committee

Purpose

  • Responsible for supporting the Board Chair in fulfilling the board mandate and providing continuity between board meetings or when quick consultations are necessary.
  • Acts with the authority of the Board in time-constrained circumstances.

Membership

  • The Chairperson of this committee is the Board Chair.
  • The committee members are the Treasurer and Secretary.
  • The Executive Director is an ex-officio member.

Board Focus Activities

  • Provide leadership and commitment to the board and to MYF.
  • Distil information from the organization to ensure that the full Board is provided with the appropriate amount of information for informed decision making.

Operational Focus Activities

  • Provide mentorship and support to other board and staff members.
